We’re seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations for a busy food manufacturing environment. You’ll oversee stock control, packing, storage, dispatch and team leadership, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant warehouse performance.
What You’ll Do as Warehouse Manager:
- Manage inventory, stock levels and WMS accuracy.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: packing, storage, loading and goods in.
- Lead and develop a team across packing, loading and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with transport and production for smooth workflow.
Person Specification
Essential
- Strong experience in warehouse management, ideally within food processing.
- Proficient in WMS and inventory control systems.
- Solid understanding of logistics, warehouse best practices and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT skills and a collaborative mindset.
Desirable
- Basic understanding of UK employment law and HR processes.
- IOSH Health & Safety management qualification.
- Experience with BRC audits, HACCP and food safety systems.
