We’re seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations for a busy food manufacturing environment. You’ll oversee stock control, packing, storage, dispatch and team leadership, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant warehouse performance.

What You’ll Do as Warehouse Manager:

  • Manage inventory, stock levels and WMS accuracy.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations: packing, storage, loading and goods in.
  • Lead and develop a team across packing, loading and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and food safety standards.
  • Coordinate with transport and production for smooth workflow.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Strong experience in warehouse management, ideally within food processing.
  • Proficient in WMS and inventory control systems.
  • Solid understanding of logistics, warehouse best practices and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong IT skills and a collaborative mindset.

Desirable

  • Basic understanding of UK employment law and HR processes.
  • IOSH Health & Safety management qualification.
  • Experience with BRC audits, HACCP and food safety systems.
