Job Description
** Graduate Procurement Analyst **
- Salary £28k + Annual Bonus + Great Benefits
- Full support and Training will be provided
- Guildford Based
- Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely
Our client based in Guildford, is seeking a recent or experienced graduate to join a great team as Procurement Analyst.
The Opportunity:
- Deliver effective and efficient energy procurement services for Clients via tendering, budgeting etc
- Maintain effective working relationships at an operational level with key Internal (Commercial Team, Support, Risk Management & Trading) and External Stakeholders (Energy Suppliers, Customers)
- Drive operational excellence by participating in process and service improvements in response to market developments and business targets
Responsibility:
- Manage the tendering, analysis and subsequent contract award and placement processes relating to complex energy supply contracts
- Analyse energy supply contract prices and terms and negotiate with energy suppliers through regular interaction to ensure optimal contracts are secured
- Manage client and supplier relationships through formal and informal communication to ensure flawless service delivery to our clients
- Work closely with the Commercial Team and other internal stakeholders
- Manage the day-to-day tasks a and support Trading on all related queries
- Participate in budget forecast creation process, help create dynamic and commercially relevant reports.
Requirements:
- Degree preferably in Finance/ Economics/ Business/Science or Energy related studies
- Experience of the energy industry gained either at a supplier, or an energy consultancy is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, work independently and deliver results
- Strong communication, negotiating and collaborating skills, being able to form effective relationship with demanding stakeholders, both external and internal
