An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an award-winning, fast-growing business with a genuinely positive culture and strong team values. This is a newly created role within a well-established finance function, designed to support the Finance Manager and provide hands-on oversight across day-to-day accounting activity, while also acting as a dependable point of support for two Accounts Assistants.
We are looking for someone practically experienced, confident in transaction-led finance and comfortable taking responsibility, without needing a formal “senior” title or fast-tracked hierarchy progression.
The Role: What You'll Be Doing
- Posting sales invoices, credit notes and purchase invoices
- Processing and managing overhead invoices
- Setting up new customers and suppliers (following internal authorisation)
