The Role
As an Outbound Sales Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving new business growth. Working closely with the wider Sales Team, you’ll proactively engage potential customers, open doors to new opportunities, and help strengthen relationships with existing accounts. This position is primarily office‑based in Hemel Hempstead, with the opportunity for some field‑based work as the role develops.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively reaching out to prospective and existing B2B customers via telephone
- Identifying and developing new sales opportunities across targeted accounts
- Following up on enquiries, sample requests, referrals and online leads (both warm and cold)
- Re‑establishing relationships with dormant accounts and bringing them back to life
- Booking follow‑up conversations and maintaining strong pipelines
- Managing a high volume of outbound activity in line with agreed KPIs
- Keeping CRM records accurate, detailed and up to date
- Tracking daily call activity and monitoring conversion success
- Collaborating with the wider sales team and contributing to meetings, launches and performance updates
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in an outbound B2B telesales environment
- Strong customer service or sales background
- Confident, professional, and engaging telephone manner
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑driven
- Well‑organised with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable working to targets and remaining calm under pressure
- IT‑literate, with experience using CRM systems
- Field sales experience would be an advantage, but not essential
