The Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised HR Administrator to join a busy HR team on a temporary basis. This role will provide essential administrative support across employee records, compliance projects, reporting activities, and HR operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and documentation, has excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable handling confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
HR Records & Document Management
- Review, organise, audit, and digitise employee personnel files
- Scan, index, and upload documentation into HR systems and document repositories
- Check employee files for accuracy and completeness, identifying any missing information
- Maintain audit logs and document inventories
- Support records retention, archiving, secure storage, and document disposal processes
Compliance & Reporting
- Assist with HR compliance and audit-related projects
- Support statutory reporting activities through data gathering, validation, and tracking
- Ensure employee information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR requirements
- Maintain accurate records and support data reconciliation activities
HR Administration
- Provide administrative support for employee leaver processes
- Prepare HR documentation and maintain case records
- Assist with invoice administration and supplier tracking
- Support the wider HR team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in HR administration or a similar administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage large volumes of information accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using HR systems, ideally Workday, would be advantageous
