Court Typist

We\\\’re looking for a reliable and focused Court Typist to join us for a short-term assignment at a legal case in Holborn. This is verbatim typing, so you\\\’ll need to be confident with fast, accurate transcription and able to stay engaged across long sessions.

You\’ll be working Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, from 10th November to 3rd December. It\\\’s a great opportunity for someone with previous court or legal transcription experience, a super-speedy typist who\\\’s comfortable with formal proceedings.

What You\\\’ll Be Doing

  • Typing verbatim transcripts of live tribunal proceedings
  • Maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout each session
  • Working quietly and professionally in a courtroom setting
  • Saving and organising transcripts securely each day
  • Liaising with the lead clerk or tribunal team if needed
  • Bringing your own laptop and ensuring it\\\’s ready to go each morning
  • Staying focused and engaged across multiple hours of testimony
