  • My client, a leading luxury student accommodation provider is seeking

Temporary staff to support them this summer as a Team Support Assistant/Runner.

You’ll be supporting the Operations Manager and site team, in achieving successful turnaround of residents’ rooms.

Turnaround is a tight operational 4 week period of emptying residents’ rooms in advance of the cleaners and Maintenance teams, and having the room clean and inspected, ready for the new residents check-in.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for daily completion of task list
  • Clearing set number of rooms, removing rubbish and placing in the bin room
  • Photographing any personal/valuable resident possessions and storing in the office safe and recording details/and informing the manager
  • Reviewing condition of empty rooms and completing report on i Pad – giving details of any material works/repairs to be completed by the Maintenance team.
  • Providing feedback and detailed handover to the Operations Manager to assist with planning next day’s workload for all team members.
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents – answering their queries, helping with re-issue of key fobs; logging and hiring of items e. g. hoovers, ironing boards etc
  • Successfully managed administrative tasks related to student rooms, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Collaborated with team members from the Estates and Maintenance team to address and resolve resident requests regarding room repairs.
  • Meeting and greeting residents – engaging with them and providing help and assistance whenever needed.
