We are looking for a professional and proactive Front of House Receptionist / Building Assistant to oversee the day-to-day operation of a multi-tenanted office building in the City of London. This role combines front of house customer service with facilities and building management responsibilities, ensuring the building operates efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional reception service for tenants and visitors.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants, handling queries and requests.
- Support the day-to-day management of the building and maintain high standards in communal areas.
- Carry out daily inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
- Coordinate contractors, ensuring permits, RAMS and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Log and track maintenance requests via helpdesk/CAFM system.
- Manage access control and CCTV systems.
- Support health & safety and fire safety procedures, including evacuation coordination.
- Maintain accurate building and contractor records.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in reception, facilities or building management in a commercial environment.
- Experience in multi-tenanted buildings desirable.
- Knowledge of contractor coordination and maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with access control, CCTV and health & safety procedures.
- Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills.
