We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Property Assistant to join a growing Property Management team in London. You’ll play a key role supporting surveyors in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across the capital, working with a mix of private and institutional clients from the UK and internationally.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as a key point of contact for tenants and clients, responding to queries promptly and professionally
- Supporting surveyors with the day-to-day management of a London-based commercial property portfolio
- Assisting with utility recharges and liaising with external consultants
- Helping plan ahead for key lease events such as rent reviews and expiries
- Supporting the onboarding of new properties and clients into the portfolio
- Preparing for client meetings and following up on actions
- Maintaining accurate property and lease data within management systems
- Reading and summarising lease documents
- Producing client reports to agreed standards and deadlines
- Updating workflows, lease changes, and new property records
- Assisting with service charge budgets and reconciliations
- Monitoring cash flow and reviewing budgets
- Supporting arrears management alongside credit control teams
- Approving invoices and ensuring correct financial coding
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
