We are currently recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to join an established and growing consultancy, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. This role is based in the London office, with hybrid working available subject to business requirements.
The focus is on project delivery, technical excellence, and professional development rather than people management.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of civil engineering projects, providing expertise across highways, drainage and infrastructure works. You’ll work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring designs meet regulatory standards and best practice, while continuing to develop your own professional capability.
- Design, analyse and develop civil engineering solutions including highways, drainage systems, infrastructure, earthworks and site layouts
- Contribute to project delivery with guidance and support from senior management
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, planning conditions and relevant industry standards
- Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and regulatory adherence across all designs
- Identify technical challenges early and develop robust, innovative engineering solutions
- Support risk mitigation and efficient project outcomes
- Support quality assurance of engineering outputs to meet internal and external standards
Proficient in Civil 3D (3D modelling essential). Relevant degree or apprenticeship with appropriate industry experience. Full clean UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle. Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
