Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure / Hybrid) Salary up to £65,000 Based in London (remote) We’re hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a business operating a hybrid environment moving toward fully cloud (Azure-led). This is a hands-on platform role focused on ownership, stability, security, and cost optimisation, ideal for someone who wants to go beyond day-to-day support and play a key role in evolving and improving the platform Key Responsibilities: Owning and managing a hybrid cloud platform (Azure, on-prem, small AWS footprint) Ensuring stability, performance, and security across the environment Supporting on-prem to cloud connectivity and hybrid infrastructure Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving platform issues Driving cloud cost optimisation and efficiency improvements Supporting data and integration services (ADF, Logic Apps, APIs) Implementing and maintaining security controls and access policies Contributing to automation, improvements, and platform evolution Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders Skills & Experience: Experience as a Cloud, Azure, or Infrastructure Engineer Strong Azure knowledge including: IaaS (VMs, storage, networking) Identity (Entra ID / Azure AD) Experience working in a hybrid environment (on-prem cloud) Solid infrastructure background (Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, M365) Working knowledge of AWS (non-primary) Understanding of security tools, controls, and best practices Backup experience (e.g. Veeam or similar) Ability to work with stakeholders and contribute to platform improvement s Please apply with your most recent updated CV!
