We are currently recruiting two Membership Account Executives to join a friendly, collaborative team environment. These are hands-on, office-based roles focused on building trusted relationships with business members and helping them achieve greater value and outcomes from their membership.

This is not a hard sales role. Success comes from consultative conversations, genuine curiosity about your customers’ businesses, and the ability to identify opportunities where additional services, events, upgrades or sponsorships can add real value.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with a portfolio of business members, acting as a first point of contact and trusted advisor throughout their membership journey. Your focus will be on engagement, retention and growth — ensuring members are fully aware of and involved in the benefits available to them.

The role suits someone who enjoys being operational, front-line and people-focused, with a natural ability to build rapport and confidence across a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with members to deliver an excellent, consistent customer experience
  • Hold consultative conversations to understand business needs and identify value-added solutions
  • Encourage participation in events, networking opportunities and business initiatives
  • Explore and promote relevant upgrades, sponsorship and additional services where appropriate
  • Support membership renewals and retention activity
  • Conduct regular account calls and occasional 1-to-1 meetings (in person or virtual)
  • Accurately maintain records and activity through a CRM system
  • Attend occasional business events (early mornings or early evenings – typically 1–2 per month)
  • Travel locally to meet members where required (Hertfordshire)
  • Contribute to team targets around engagement, revenue growth and member satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

  • Background in business-to-business roles, ideally across multiple industries
  • Comfortable communicating with people at all levels, from SMEs to senior leaders
  • Naturally consultative, with the confidence to have commercial conversations in a subtle, value-led way
  • Professional, credible and customer-focused with high personal and business standards
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoys working in a team-based, office environment
  • Target-driven, but motivated by relationships and long-term value rather than hard selling
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle you are happy to use for business purposes
  • Willingness to travel locally across Hertfordshire for occasional face-to-face meetings and to attend networking events

Working Pattern & Rewards

  • Office based in Hatfield, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional attendance at business events outside core hours with time back in lieu
  • Good basic salary, plus bonus and additional earning potential
  • Two opportunities available: Full-time permanent position and Full-time 12-month fixed term contract

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a relationship-led, professional environment and enjoys making a tangible difference to customer experience, engagement and long-term value.
