About this role:
The Group FP&A team is responsible for the Group planning and reporting processes and works with senior stakeholders across a wide range of functions to provide actionable financial insight. Reporting to the Group FP&A Director, the Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Manager is responsible for ownership of the Group’s planning or reporting process, working with the regional finance and supply chain teams. This role requires familiarity with FP&A processes and best practice, and an ability to derive and communicate actionable insights to the regional finance teams.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the planning or reporting process for Group
- Conduct financial analysis to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks and opportunities. This includes using statistical techniques, data visualization tools, and industry benchmarks to gain insights into the company's financial health and performance.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models that incorporate various assumptions and data points to predict future financial performance under different scenarios.
- Prepare financial reports and present crucial financial information to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and insightful manner. This may involve creating reports, presentations, and dashboards that summarise key financial metrics, trends, and forecasts.
- Partner with other Group teams (including but not limited to: Investor Relations, Compensation & Benefits and corporate affairs) to provide analysis and insights in support of their key deliverables.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting continuous development and excellence within the team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial planning and analysis, making recommendations to senior management and the Finance leadership team to support the optimisation of FP&A operations and practices.
Skills and Experience (Manager):
- Charted Accountancy qualification (CA, ACA, CPA etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Advanced communication skills to convey highly complex, commercially sensitive information to a diverse audience.
- Able to solve highly complex problems which require advanced decision-making, original thought and new solutions.
- Expert knowledge in multiple related specialised fields, disciplines, tools and approaches within FP&A.
- Prior experience of leading and developing a team located across multiple geographies and time zones.
