We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the Batch Preparation team at our facility in Chester. As a member of the team, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of batch preparation, checking and receiving materials, picking materials and batch prepping within controlled areas. This is a small operation with the opportunity to grow and develop with our fantastic, family-feel business.

About the role
  • To work within the company policies/procedures and to ensure individual and collective Health & Safety is achieved.
  • Receiving, checking, and sampling of raw materials within a controlled environment.
  • Picking raw materials from designated drop area and batch prepping within controlled areas.
  • Preparing outbound dispatches, including preparing pallet labels for batches ready for dispatch.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work area.
  • Receipting on of raw materials returned to stock.
  • Reporting of any damages or non-conforming materials or equipment.
  • Attention to detail i.e. check articles, lot numbers, raw material bag weights and quantities.
What you'll need
  • Enthusiastic, with a keen interest in food processing.
  • Good IT systems knowledge.
  • Experience and understanding to lead/comply with our EHS and Quality policies.

  • 36.75 hrs Monday - Friday (With the opportunity for weekend overtime with additional pay).
  • £24,746 per annum + shift allowance + 10% shift premium bonus.
