Lead high‑performing warehouse & e‑commerce operations for a global FMCG leader. ASR Group is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, home to iconic brands like Tate & Lyle®, Lyle’s® and Whitworths®. We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Manager to take ownership of warehouse and e‑commerce operations at our Normanton site.
The Role
You’ll lead a team of around 10 colleagues, ensuring products move right‑first‑time, in full while driving safety, cost, service and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- End‑to‑end management of warehouse & e‑commerce operations
- Ownership of Warehouse Management System performance, data accuracy & reporting
- Delivering service, cost and inventory KPIs
- Leading safety, quality, hygiene & environmental standards
- Driving Lean / CI improvements and root‑cause problem solving
- Managing budgets, suppliers, and OEMs
- Coordinating inbound, outbound, transport & yard operations
- Building an engaged, high‑performing team culture
What We’re Looking For
- Proven warehouse leadership experience in FMCG / manufacturing
- Strong people leadership with a coaching mindset
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, SAP and data‑led decision making
- Solid understanding of health & safety and BRC / quality systems
- Practical Lean / CI experience
- Strong Excel and stakeholder communication skills
Nice to have:
- Degree‑level qualification, formal Lean training, CAPEX delivery, or e‑commerce fulfilment experience.
