Now, we’re looking for a talented and ambitious Assistant Brand Manager to help grow two of our UK favourites: Tate & Lyle and Whitworths Sugar.
The Role
As our new Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll be a key member of the UK Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. Your mission? Bring our brands to life across consumer, trade, and digital touchpoints. You will support in building brand plans, managing the product portfolio, delivering campaigns, and driving performance across the UK market. This role will suit a Marketing Assistant who is keen to step up into an Assistant Brand Manager role.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of brand and trade communication campaigns
- Work closely with agencies on all aspects of activation: social, display, PR, creative production, media, websites, email, search, and packaging
- Manage and optimise the brand portfolio, ensuring projects land on time
- Create customer-facing assets, including compelling brand and campaign presentations
- Liaise with retailers and their agencies to deliver strong joint business plans
- Assist with e-commerce operations, including campaign execution, product listings, consumer care, and fulfilment oversight
- Analyse market data (e.g., Nielsen) to spot trends, monitor performance, and identify opportunities—especially in Baking and seasonal occasions
- Take ownership of budget tracking and management
- Support wider marketing projects including product launches, AI implementation, and database management
