We’re now looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting our UK production and packing network.
About the Role
You’ll deliver proactive, insightful financial analysis that helps drive performance across our operations. You’ll take ownership of key month‑end processes, support forecasting and budgeting cycles, and partner with operational leaders to influence decisions and ensure financial targets are met. Based at our Normanton production site, you’ll also support our wider UK packing network, becoming a trusted advisor to senior management and operational teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning month‑end and periodic closing tasks, overseeing and controlling a multi‑million‑euro cost base across one or more production facilities.
- Producing timely, accurate monthly finance reports with KPIs, commentary, and analysis of trends and performance drivers.
- Ensuring the integrity of financial reporting through regular data reviews, strong processes, and effective controls.
- Supporting annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting, taking ownership of defined areas.
- Challenging and influencing key stakeholders to ensure decisions align with financial targets.
- Conducting ad‑hoc analysis, including variance investigations and option modelling to support better business decisions.
- Assisting with financial audits.
- Working with Material Master Data to develop standard costs and support tender analysis.
- Partnering with Operations to build business cases for CAPEX investments.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in commercial or operational finance.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP.
- Background in audit or a similar analytical role.
- Excellent IT skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part‑qualified with relevant experience.
