Estate Agent - Lettings Manager

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Valuer, or the company are open to a Lettings Manager, for our Estate Agency client based in Welwyn Garden City.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year\’s valuing experience, with a proven track record. Candidates must be a UK resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have use of your own car.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating lettings contracts
• Generating new business
• Turning enquiries into actual business
• Prospecting on a daily basis
• Building the market share
• Compliance with current legislation including a full understanding of the Housing Act
• Creating new opportunities
• Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with tenants and landlords
• Negotiating offers
• Guiding and advising tenants and landlords with accurate and up-to-date information
• Providing an exceptional level of service

Key Skills

• A minimum of 1 year valuing experience with a proven track record
• Proactive, driven and ambitious
• Accomplished at winning new business
• Experience in negotiating contracts
• Background in managing and mentoring staff
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Engaging, informative and passionate
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with use of own car

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am – 5pm
