We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable and experienced Events Porters to join our Events Team. Events Porters act as guardians for all Tate Events equipment and beverage stock. They assist with all elements of event prep, set up, duration and pack down, transporting goods between Tate Modern and Tate Britain as needed.
Responsibilities
- Guard equipment and beverage stock across Tate sites.
- Assist with event preparation, set‑up, duration and pack‑down.
- Transport goods between Tate Modern and Tate Britain as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience operating in a catering or kitchen environment in a large, multi‑site, multi‑venue setting.
- Passion for delivering world‑class events, food & beverage, people and teamwork.
- Meticulous eye for detail, high standards of operation.
- Effective communicator and relationship builder.
- Valid UK driver’s licence, clean driving record for the last 2 years, minimum age 21 to meet van insurance requirements.
- Ability to undertake high‑volume manual handling, including lifting kegs up to 30 kg.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours, including mornings and evenings on a rotational basis.
