Residential Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Fareham
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded firm known for its friendly and approachable service, is currently seeking a Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to gain valuable, hands-on experience in residential conveyancing, providing support to the Fee Earners and helping to ensure a high standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming telephone calls and accurately recording messages
- Liaising with clients in person and by phone, including scheduling and confirming appointments
- Maintaining and updating the case management system
- Typing and preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Managing banking tasks such as collecting and depositing cheques
- Sorting and distributing post to relevant Fee Earners
- Supporting the department with a variety of administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing is desirable but not essential
- Professional and presentable appearance
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Positive, \’can-do\’ attitude and willingness to be flexible
- A team player
