Location: Maidstone. Desk Based

Salary: up to £55k DOE plus generous bonus scheme and benefits.

Full time in the office for first 2 months then hybrid, 2 days WFH and 3 days office.

The Opportunity

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Desk Based Financial Advisor to join an established growing financial planning firm. You will be working within a hand-picked team of professionals to deliver the highest standard of advice to a client bank that will be assigned to you when you start with the firm. The proposition is our firm's digital proposition designed to service clients remotely using our in-house platform designed to service new and existing clients efficiently and traditional platform clients.

Financial Advisor duties and responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality telephone/video-based reviews & holistic financial advice
  • Manage and service an existing client bank
  • Support the rollout of a new digital platform and collaborate in test-and-learn phases
  • Move clients onto the appropriate service level
  • Complete most admin/report writing (support provided for complex cases)
  • Create bespoke financial plans tailored to client goals
  • Maintain accurate records & meet Consumer Duty requirements
  • Represent the business professionally and work closely with your support team

What We're Looking For

  • CAS status essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an IFA/financial planning role
  • Level 4 Diploma (Chartered progression desirable)
  • Networking: You are able to network with professional connections and cultivate new business introductions.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, trusts & IHT
  • Detail-driven, client-focused, proactive, and confident using CRMs/digital tools
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Intelligent Office experience is a bonus
