We're supporting a growing business with UK and European operations who are looking to bring in a Finance Executive to join their team.

If you're at the start of your finance career (or a year or two in) and want broader exposure, not repetition, this is worth a look. You'll be getting involved across:

  • Purchase Ledger & Suppliers - Managing invoices, resolving queries and working closely with an outsourced function
  • Cash & Payments - Supporting cash flow forecasting, payment runs and expenses
  • Sales Ledger & Credit Control - Handling invoicing, dealing with customer queries and supporting UK & EU ledgers
  • European Finance Exposure - Multi-currency reconciliations, VAT submissions, and supporting EU operations
  • Month-End & Reporting - Getting involved in reporting, VAT returns and wider finance projects

What makes this role stand out?

  • You'll learn multiple areas of finance
  • Exposure to international operations and multi-currency work
  • A clear pathway to develop into more senior responsibilities
  • The chance to take ownership of the European P&L over time
  • A business that values people who want to improve processes and add value

What they're looking for:

  • Detail-oriented and organised
  • Proactive, someone who doesn't just wait to be told
  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues and external contacts
  • Confident using Excel (Sage 50 experience is a bonus, not a deal breaker)
  • Keen to learn and build a career in finance

The ideal person is someone who:

  • Wants more than just a transactional role
  • Enjoys variety and being part of a team
  • Is thinking long-term about their finance career
