The environment is hybrid moving toward fully cloud (Azure-led), with a small AWS footprint being phased out over the next 6 months. This role focuses on platform ownership, stability, security, and cost optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Azure and hybrid infrastructure
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and security
  • Support on-prem to cloud connectivity
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • Drive cost optimisation across cloud environments
  • Support data and integration services (ADF, Logic Apps, APIs)
  • Implement and maintain security controls and access policies
  • Contribute to automation and platform improvements

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a Cloud / Azure / Infrastructure Engineer
  • Strong Azure (IaaS, networking, identity, Entra ID)
  • Hybrid experience (on-prem + cloud)
  • Infrastructure background (Windows/Linux, AD, M365)
  • Working knowledge of AWS
  • Experience with security tools and controls
  • Backup experience (Veeam or similar)
  • Exposure to: ADF / Fabric, Logic Apps / APIs, Front Door / WAF / Nginx
