We are currently recruiting for a Block Manager for our Estate Agency client based in Chichester. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years previous experience running a large block portfolio. Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30‑minute commute of the area. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence.

Benefits

  • Full time Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am – 1pm with half day off in lieu OR open to part time hours (salary pro rata)

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with day‑to‑day maintenance and repairs
  • Arranging major works and the Section 20 process
  • Arranging Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Audits, EICR's and other Health and Safety reports
  • Responding to Leaseholder queries
  • Dealing with legal/lease queries
  • Putting in place various block insurance policies
  • Putting together service charge budgets
  • General Administration
  • Site inspections
  • Providing management packs and answering further solicitor enquiries
  • Assisting with system onboarding of new business documents
  • Dealing with management company administration on Companies House, such as filing annual confirmation statements and company house accounts
  • Reviewing and signing off end‑of‑year Service Charge accounts
