Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast-growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Agile Programme Manager / Scrum Master to coach and guide module teams in adopting self-management and cross-functional working practices. The role involves coordinating dependencies across multiple groups, removing obstacles, and ensuring alignment between module and domain teams. You will drive continuous improvement in agile practices, facilitate stakeholder collaboration, and govern agreed ways of working within the JEA EE Group.

Area of Responsibility

  • Coach and guide module teams to adopt self-management and cross-functional working, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Coordinate cross-group dependencies and maintain alignment across forums such as Scrum Master Circle, X500 Scrum Masters weekly meeting, and AIMS start-ups.
  • Remove obstacles impeding module team progress, including chairing X500 Obstacle Board Reviews (OBRs).
  • Present AIMS, impediments, and risks to X500 Domain Teams through the Domain Obstacle process and support escalation during Obstacle Reviews.
  • Promote an empirical approach to complex work by helping stakeholders use appropriate tools and processes.
  • Maintain alignment between Module Teams and Domain Teams, ensuring top-down and bottom-up synchronization.
  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration to resolve issues and progress work.
  • Support PGLs in preparing the EE X500 Group QBR memo in conjunction with PI Planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in collaboration and agile practices, identifying opportunities to leverage agile techniques.
  • Govern agreed ways of working within the JEA EE Group and ensure adherence to standards.

Knowledge / Experience

  • Proven experience in a programme management role with working knowledge of relevant JLR processes.
  • Strong background in leading delivery and integration across PCDS programme lifecycle, with proactive risk and issue management.
  • Skilled in building effective cross-functional relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in Agile Project Management with knowledge of JLR processes.
  • Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence.
