Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a UI UX Specialist to be based at our office/our customer’s site in Gaydon. Our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) practice helps manufacturers build better products, define better processes, and reduce costs.
The UI/UX Specialist is responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and user‑centric digital experiences across digital platforms. This role bridges business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility by applying user research, interaction design, and visual design principles to deliver high‑quality, consistent user experiences.
Area of Responsibility- Define UX vision and strategy aligned with business needs.
- Create UI/UX Product roadmap, align UX strategy with business goals, and ensure design consistency across projects.
- Conduct user research to understand user behaviours, needs, and pain points.
- Focus on the look and feel of the product, ensuring a visually appealing and consistent interface.
- Design user interactions and experiences to ensure seamless navigation and intuitive workflows.
- Bridge the gap between design and development by implementing user-friendly UI components.
- Evaluate whether design is usable and intuitive to support users in achieving their goals by observing and reviewing how users interact with it.
- Worked as part of a UI/UX Team developing a UI/UX Product for OEM’s Digital Platform for better user experience.
- Worked closely with user interface researchers to devise UX requirements for seamless, frictionless user journeys.
- Experience in collaboration with Business Stakeholders, Department heads, Product managers, Developers and collect requirements to iterate on multiple solutions.
- Best practices for user-centered design (UCD) are followed.
- Experience to plan and conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to understand user behaviours, needs, and pain points.
- Experience in analysing user behaviour, user data through qualitative and quantitative methods to identify patterns, insights and areas of improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the design and development teams.
- Experience in UX research to focus on the user's experience with a product or service, ensuring it is intuitive, usable, and enjoyable.
- Able to design user interactions and experiences to ensure seamless navigation and intuitive workflows, create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, design interactions, animations, and micro-interactions.
- Experience to optimize information architecture for intuitive navigation, collaborate with developers to implement designs effectively, creation of high-fidelity UI designs based on UX research.
- Experience in converting UI/UX designs into functional, responsive web components, designing interactive elements to ensure accessibility and performance optimization.
- Worked closely with UI/UX designers to refine interactions.
- Good knowledge about Backend coding using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Front end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
