Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for Cyber Security Engineer to be based at our customer's office in Gaydon.
Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers.
It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.
Scope of Role
Support automotive cybersecurity engineering, compliance and type approval activities across vehicle systems, software and connected services.
The role covers cybersecurity planning, threat analysis, requirements, implementation assurance, validation evidence and regulatory compliance.
- Area of Responsibility
- Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment for vehicle systems and assets.
- Develop cybersecurity goals, concepts and technical requirements.
- Support cybersecurity interface agreements and supplier assurance.
- Review architecture and implementation evidence against security requirements.
- Coordinate cybersecurity verification, validation and penetration testing.
- Maintain cybersecurity work products, assumptions, risks and traceability.
- Support vulnerability management and change impact assessment.
- Prepare evidence for audits, assessments and type approval.
- Support software update management and security incident processes.
- Knowledge / Experience
Essential
- Degree in cybersecurity, software, electrical, electronic or automotive engineering.
- Cybersecurity experience with automotive exposure.
- Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156.
- Experience with TARA, cybersecurity requirements and assurance evidence.
- Understanding of embedded systems, vehicle networks and secure software principles.
Desirable
- Automotive cybersecurity certification.
- Penetration testing or security validation experience.
- Sec OC, PKI, secure boot or AUTOSAR security knowledge.
