Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Body Electronics Engineer. Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.

The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Body Electronics Engineer to develop, configure, integrate and validate body electronics systems and vehicle comfort, access and control functions. The role supports feature requirements, ECU configuration, calibration, network interfaces, diagnostics and validation.

Area of Responsibility:

  • Support development and integration of body electronics features.
  • Analyse feature requirements and system interfaces.
  • Configure and calibrate body control functions and ECU parameters.
  • Support network signal, diagnostics and software integration activities.
  • Develop and execute functional validation tests.
  • Investigate vehicle and bench defects using logs and network traces.
  • Coordinate with feature owners, suppliers and validation teams.
  • Maintain requirements, calibration, issue and validation documentation.
  • Support software release and vehicle build readiness.

Knowledge / Experience

Essential:

  • Degree in electrical, electronic, automotive or mechatronics engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of body electronics or BCM experience.
  • Knowledge of body features, vehicle networks and diagnostics.
  • Hands-on integration, calibration or validation experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and defect management skills.

Desirable:

  • Access, lighting, closures, comfort or security function experience.
  • AUTOSAR and model-based development awareness.
  • Vehicle test experience.
