The Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP TM solutions to support end-to-end transportation and logistics processes. Experience with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is an added advantage. This role requires strong functional knowledge, stakeholder communication, and the ability to work in fast-paced project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP TM processes within an S/4HANA landscape.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure TM components such as freight order management, planning, carrier selection, charge calculation, and freight settlement.
- Integrate SAP TM with other modules (MM, SD, LE, FI) and external logistics systems.
- Support transportation planning & execution, order management, and inbound/outbound logistics flows.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to optimize transportation workflows and resolve issues.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and support cutover activities.
- Provide production support and continuous process improvements post-go-live.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; EWM experience will be useful for warehouse-related logistics integration.
