As an experienced hands-on Security Solution Architect, this role will play a vital role in helping a highly motivated team responsible for robust solution delivery.
Working closely with the Technical Architecture Lead and the business, the role holder will be responsible for establishing working relationship with internal and external stakeholders whilst leading technical delivery of the project.
The role holder shall be accountable for requirements analysis, business process reviews, solution design artefacts in multiple business domains, and responsible for meeting the organisation’s standards and business objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Accountable for collaborating with Technical Lead Architect in delivering requirements analysis and creating low level system engineering specifications.
- Analyse, understand and establish end-to-end infrastructure environments for use case specific testing based on the guidelines and deadlines provided by the Programme and Solution Architect
- Take initiative and generate system level (low level) design documents in-line with high level design and vendor’s implementation and where required provide alignment and deviation from overall architecture blueprint. This includes but not limited to design and implement security controls across all layers and across cyber security domains to ensure, the application and the underlying cloud and on-premise infrastructure is protected from its threat landscape.
- Be hands-on wherever required to be able to deploy the required infrastructure, to enable the project to move forward to meet its deadlines.
- Act as a delivery architect where required, to be able to bridge the gap between high-level solution design and the actual execution and implementation of a project.
- Advise the test team in help building the test use-cases, execution of test cases and validate test reports.
- Advise on root cause analysis of technical problems and perform design validation at all levels to ensure that the prescribed design is fit for purpose as mandated in architecture and vendor’s technical documentation.
- Analyse, scrutinize and validate digital x.509v3 certificate profiles, and ensure these are accurately created, maintained and audited in line with technical standards.
