Our PLM team has a wonderful opportunity for a person with extensive change management experience to join as Change Lead. The Change Lead will be part of the PLM Transformation Programme and will be responsible for driving organisational change, communication, training, and stakeholder readiness for PLM transformation. This role ensures that impacted engineering, manufacturing, program, and governance teams adopt new processes, tools and ways of working introduced under the PLM transformation roadmap. The individual will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, PLM Governance, Engineering teams, and programme stakeholders to ensure successful early-life support, smooth cutovers, and controlled transitions across environments.
Responsibilities:
- Build and implement a Change Management Strategy aligned to PLM Transformation objectives.
- Develop communication plans aligned with major milestones and go‑live timelines.
- Plan and Manage Hypercare activities.
- Oversee creation, validation, and readiness of training materials for Engineering and Program teams.
- Lead readiness assessments before migration, test cycles, cutover, and deployment phases.
- Report Change impacts, adoption risks, and readiness gaps to programme leadership.
- Identify all impacted stakeholder groups and design tailored communication & training.
- Plan and manage communication for environment transitions and onboarding waves.
- Manage business stakeholders for all change-related activities.
- Collaborate with Product Owner and BA to track early-life support KPIs and stabilisation metrics.
- Support awareness, process understanding, and capability uplift across teams.
- Ensure smooth adoption by monitoring feedback channels and coordinating mitigation actions.
- Contribute to cross-functional ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, workshops).
Experience:
- Strong understanding of PLM and Engineering Change Management processes.
- Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE, BOM Management, BOM concepts, and PLM workflows.
- Proven background in Change Management, communication planning, and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change across engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.
- Experience managing training design, content validation, and readiness.
- Strong analytical ability to identify change impacts and readiness risks.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 products and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience in automotive or aerospace engineering environments.
- Familiarity with Product Development processes.
- Exposure to enterprise-level transformations in PLM or Digital Engineering.
- Certifications such as PROSCI, AIM, APMG Change Management, or equivalent are added advantage.
