Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Project Management Engineer to be based at our customer's site in Gaydon.

Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.

As a Project Management Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex engineering programs across customers electrification and vehicle architecture domains. You'll be responsible for managing technical delivery using industry-standard tools and processes, ensuring alignment with customers' Product Creation & Delivery System (PCDS) and Technical Delivery Framework (TDF).

Area of Responsibility

  • Lead and coordinate engineering delivery across cross‑functional teams using Wrike, JIRA, and other project tools
  • Manage program milestones and technical deliverables in line with PCDS and TDF frameworks
  • Interface with Systems Engineering teams to ensure robust requirements management via TRM and DOORS
  • Track and report progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders using structured governance processes
  • Support the development and deployment of digital workflows and agile methodologies within engineering programs
  • Facilitate technical reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of components and systems

Knowledge / Experience

  • Essential
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
  • Proven experience in project management within automotive or engineering environments
  • Proficiency in Wrike, JIRA, TRM, DOORS, and other project tracking tools
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and requirements management
  • Familiarity with PCDS, TDF, and gated delivery processes
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Desirable Attributes
  • Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Prince2 methodologies
  • Experience working with electric drive units, vehicle integration, or software delivery
  • Exposure to digital engineering tools and model‑based systems engineering (MBSE)
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex technical programs
