Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Module Leader to be based at our head office in Warwickshire with travel to our customer site in Whitely where required.

Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.

The Role: The Module Leader, (V&V HIL) will lead verification and validation strategy implementation across multiple simulation environments (MIL, SIL, HIL, VIL, DIL) for automotive systems. The role demands deep technical authority in XIL methodologies, toolchains, and compliance with ASPICE and industry standards, while promoting innovation in test solutions.

Area of responsibility:

  • Methodologies: Lead MIL, SIL, HIL, VIL, DIL strategy and implementation
  • Toolchain Management: Configure and optimize tools like dSPACE, Vector, IPG, LabVIEW
  • Automation: Develop test automation frameworks in Python and CAPL
  • Process Compliance: Ensure ASPICE/FMEA adherence and risk-based validation
  • System Debugging: Lead ECU/sensor/FPGA diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering: Apply MBSE and SysML for V&V planning
  • Innovation: Advance validation techniques for SDVs, EVs, and complex electronics

Knowledge/experience:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Automotive Engineering or related field
  • Experience: Extensive industry experience in automotive V&V with a focus on XIL; System-level testing and toolchain optimization; Power HIL and high-voltage systems expertise; Advanced diagnostic and debugging in automotive electronics
  • Technical Proficiency: Python, CAPL, LabVIEW, CANoe, CANalyzer, Simscape; NI, dSPACE, Vector, IPG, Synopsys tools; FPGA modeling and debugging
