- Roles & Responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience in Atlassian Jira Administration (Server, Data Center, Cloud)
- Install, configure, maintain, and support Jira Server/Data Center environments
- Perform Jira platform setup, implementation, upgrades, maintenance, backup, restore, and health monitoring activities
- Create and manage Jira Projects, Schemes, Workflows, Screens, Fields, Permissions, Notifications, and project templates/blueprints
- Design and implement scalable Jira solutions aligned with business and operational requirements
- Standardise Jira configurations, workflows, schemes, and governance processes across multiple Jira instances
- Lead Jira harmonisation initiatives to establish common ways of working, shared templates, and consistent reporting structures
- Conduct current state assessments and identify opportunities for platform simplification and consolidation
- Define target-state Jira operating models and implementation approaches
- Customize workflows including post-functions, validators, conditions, and transitions
- Create JQL queries, advanced filters, dashboards, and custom reports
- Define and maintain Jira governance standards, naming conventions, configuration guidelines, and best practices
- Expertise in migrating Jira projects, workflows, configurations, and users across Jira Server, Data Center, and Cloud environments
- Support Jira platform consolidation and migration activities across multiple business areas
- Serve as the Jira SME—resolve user queries, prepare documentation, and deliver user training
- Administer Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and associated Atlassian applications
- Strong hands-on scripting using Groovy and Script Runner
