Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Integration Debug Engineer.
Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing.
Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
The Role
We are seeking experienced and multi-skilled Integration Debug Engineer to support ongoing vehicle integration and issue investigation activities within the i CAMP environment.
The engineer will work closely with the existing on-site integration team, supporting vehicle-level debugging, diagnostics investigations, software issue triage, and root cause analysis.

- Vehicle Integration & Debug
- Support vehicle integration and debugging activities within i CAMP.
- Investigate vehicle-level issues occurring during software integration, validation, and test phases.
- Reproduce customer and engineering-reported concerns in vehicle and lab environments.
- Work with cross-functional teams to isolate and resolve integration issues.
- Perform structured root cause investigations across software, diagnostics, and vehicle domains.
- Analyse logs, traces, diagnostic data, and vehicle behaviours to identify failure mechanisms.
- Drive issue triage sessions and provide technical recommendations for resolution.
- Support verification of fixes and closure of vehicle defects.
- Conduct diagnostic investigations using UDS-based services and vehicle diagnostic tools.
- Analyse DTCs, ECU responses, network communications, and vehicle event logs.
- Support fault finding across CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet networks.
- Interpret diagnostic sessions and communication traces to determine issue sources.
- Corvus & Scripting Activities
- Utilise Corvus for log collection, analysis, and issue investigation.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate data extraction, log parsing, and fault analysis activities.
- Support tool enhancement initiatives to improve debugging efficiency.
- Create reusable analysis workflows and troubleshooting guides.
- Software Investigation
- Investigate software behaviours across ECUs and vehicle functions.
- Support analysis of software integration issues, feature interactions, configuration problems, and regressions.
- Collaborate with software development teams to identify code-level and configuration-related causes.
- Validate software fixes and integration releases.
- Vehicle Testing & Safety
- Conduct vehicle testing activities in accordance with safety procedures.
- Operate prototype and development vehicles safely within test environments.
- Understand vehicle systems sufficiently to carry out fault reproduction and verification activities.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle handling and workshop safety requirements.
