Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Connected Car Launch Engineer to be based at our office customers site in Warwick.
Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems and solutions.
The Role: The Connected Car Launch Engineer is responsible for the end‑to‑end readiness, validation, and successful market launch of connected vehicle features and services. This role acts as the technical bridge between engineering, testing, suppliers, cloud backends, and vehicle programs, ensuring that all connected car functions (OTA, telematics, remote services, apps, diagnostics, subscriptions, compliance) are stable, compliant, and launch‑ready across regions. The engineer owns pre‑launch to post‑SOP execution, including trials, production readiness, defect triage, go‑live coordination, and early‑life support.
Area of Responsibility
- Connected Feature Launch Ownership: Define launch criteria, go/no‑go gates, and acceptance metrics for connected features. Support multiple launch phases: Pilot, SOP, regional rollouts, and feature expansions.
