At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Business Analyst to be based at our office/our customer’s site in Solihull.

We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) to support FA2 line gapping, working closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and MPT teams to define, coordinate, and support the implementation of changes required to ensure continual gapping on the FA2 line. The role will involve interaction across multiple manufacturing and planning systems, with a strong emphasis on hands-on manufacturing experience rather than deep expertise in every system.

Responsibilities
  • Support FA2 line gapping activities to ensure uninterrupted and efficient manufacturing operations
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and MPT stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements
  • Define and support the implementation of process and system changes required for continual gapping
  • Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and impacts
  • Analyse and support interactions across key systems including MES, MPlan, MOTER, Legacy MES, MSights, and MP&L
  • Identify gaps, dependencies, and risks within manufacturing processes and system flows
  • Support testing, validation, and deployment activities related to implemented changes
  • Ensure solutions align with manufacturing best practices and operational needs
Key Skills
  • Strong Business Analysis experience within a manufacturing/production environment
  • Proven understanding of manufacturing processes, production lines, and shop-floor operations
  • Experience working with or around systems such as MES, production planning, and manufacturing execution platforms
  • Ability to work across multiple systems (MES, MPlan, MOTER, MSights, MP&L, legacy systems), even without deep expertise in all
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a complex, multi-system landscape
  • Experience supporting process improvement, change implementation, or operational optimisation initiatives

Note: Full system expertise across all platforms is not expected; however, manufacturing domain experience is highly desirable and a key requirement. If you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects you work on and want to join a global company, then this is the place for you. Tata Technologies: Engineering a better world.
