Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Body Electronics Systems Engineering Lead to be based at our customers site in Gaydon. Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
The Body Electronics Systems Engineering Lead will be involved in assessing the Feature readiness WRT System Requirements existing as part of repository. The suitable candidate will be required to:
- Perform gap analysis to ensure robust mapping between Feature and Requirements.
- Create a Traceability Metrics to map requirements against Feature IDs.
- Perform a market study on feature maturity, competitor benchmarking and completeness in terms of requirements that’s necessary to implement the feature onto the vehicle.

V&V and System Integration activities are key to successful delivery and a positive customer experience.
Area of Responsibility:
- Body Electronics System Engineering
- Co-ordinate with all related ECU owners to come up with a robust E2E communication system
- Document associated requirements
- Perform System Engineering analysis
- Performing performance analysis and optimizing for real time behaviors
- Carry out and analyze any Homologation requirements that’s applicable for feature readiness
Knowledge / Experience:
- Extensive experience working in an automotive Tier 1 or OEM developing and integrating all aspects of Vehicle Electronics components.
- Expert use of relevant tools for Requirement Analysis and Traceability metrics
- Knowledge of communication protocols CAN, Flexray and Ethernet.
- Good exposure in Vehicle architecture standards
- Experience with V-model implementation
- Development process and version control and configuration management
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS / TRM / X Ray / JIRA
- Technical mindset with the ability to work from fundamental engineering principles
- Collaborative, working effectively across teams & departments to deliver on time & to quality.
- Experience in issue tracking, defect reporting and root cause analysis.
- Experience features like Towing / GDO
