Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for an Autosar Engineer to be based at our customer\’s office in Gaydon, UK.
Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast-growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that works on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial Heavy Machinery.
ROLE SUMMARY
You will be involved in all core functional domains of automotive high-performance products, such as Hybrid Powertrain, Transmission, Chassis, and Body control systems, offering a great opportunity for personal and technical development.
The work involves cutting-edge E/E platform technologies (Classical AUTOSAR 4.3, Infineon Aurix Tricore), with a scope touching Functional Safety (up to ISO-26262 ASIL-D ASW and E2E), embedded networking (CAN, LIN, Ethernet stack configuration), diagnostics (DoIP), flash bootloader, optimization (memory, task scheduling, multicore), memory partitioning, logging, calibration (XCP), and time synchronization (TSN).
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Embedded Software will work on all aspects to define, design, and deliver an embedded software platform for AUTOSAR electronic control units.
- Handling the mapping of ECU hardware and software through the integration process.
- Configuration of system stack, memory stack, communication stack, CDD, and hardware abstraction.
- Document the integration guideline and process.
- ARM XL creation for SW-C.
- Work cross-functionally to deliver software components.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in an automotive Tier 1 or OEM developing and integrating all aspects of embedded real-time AUTOSAR basic software.
- Expert use of relevant tools such as ETAS RTE for configuration.
- Excellent coding guidelines for safe and secure applications such as MISRA C.
- Experience with V-model software development.
- Proficiency in embedded C programming.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
- Technical mindset with the ability to work from fundamental engineering principles.
Tools:
- ETAS RTE, Vector Tools – CANape, CANoe, CANalyser, Polyspace.
- Experience with DevOps and SCM tools such as GIT, Jenkins.
