Key responsibilities:
- Integrate BMS control strategies across SDU, CSC, and WGM components
- Manage interface consistency between embedded software and hardware signals
- Support cross-domain integration with electrical, mechanical, and thermal control teams
- Develop and execute HIL test plans for control logic, fault scenarios, and edge cases
- Build simulation models for WGM and CSC hardware to test real-time responses
- Analyse test data to validate control responses and troubleshoot system discrepancies
- Implement automated test suites for functional validation of control algorithms
- Verify system compliance against specifications, safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262), and regulatory norms
- Document validation results and assist in release readiness reviews
- Identify root causes of hardware-control integration issues using diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with hardware and algorithm teams to refine system behaviour
- Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency, robustness, and traceability
- Requirement elicitation and maintaining traceability to ensure the product meets the required safety, performance and reliability standards
- Managing supplier co-ordination for delivery of components as per the program milestones
Required skills & experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field
- Extensive experience in system testing, embedded controls, or BMS integration
- Hands-on experience with HIL platforms (e.g., dSPACE, NI, ETAS), test automation, and fault injection
- Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and CAN-based communication tools (CANalyzer, CANoe)
- Working knowledge of SDU control logic, CSC interfaces, and gateway hardware
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience in the development and testing of safety-critical systems
- Familiarity with battery cell behavior, pack configurations, and electrical diagnostics
- Background in automotive, aerospace, or high-voltage industrial applications
