ROLESUMMARY TheAccessoriesdepartmentislookingforadynamicLeadEngineertodriveOn-Cycledeliveryofstructuralcommoditiessuchasdeployableandfixedsidesteps,towbars,underbodyprotectionandself-recoverywinches.Theroleinvolvesworkingcross-functionallywithareasincludingCoreEngineering,VehicleAttributes&VehicleEngineering(VAVE),Manufacturing,ProductMarketing,ProgrammeManagement,FinanceandCreativetodeveloprobust,innovativeandfeature-richsolutionssupportingadiverseprojectlandscape.Commoditieswillbedeliveredforbothlineandretailerfit,whichfollowuniqueprocesses.WorkingwithsupportfromtherelevantSubjectMatterExperts,theLeadEngineerwillberesponsibleforunderstandingtheinitialrequirementsforaprogrammebasedonthevignetteandthendevelopingthisintorobusttechnicalassumptions,eventuallyleadingtothedevelopmentanddeliveryofstructuralcommodities.
