OurEngineeringResearchandDevelopmentdepartment(ER&D)isafast-growingfunctionwithinTataTechnologiesLimitedthatisassembledtoworkonexcitingprojectsgloballyformultiplecustomers.ItcompriseshighlyspecializedengineersacrossAutomotive,AerospaceandIndustrialHeavyMachinery. ROLESUMMARY TheLeadEngineerwillsupportthePL/PE/DEtoensurethedeliveryofSeatingwiththerightquality,meetingcustomerexpectations.ThisdemandingrolerequirestheLeadEngineertomanagetechnicaldeliveryandresolvedesignissues.TheLEwillworkcloselywiththeML/LE/DEandcustomerstoensureservicedeliveryisachieved. Keyresponsibleincludes: Overseeingtechnicaldelivery,inputting/validatingDFMEA/DVP,andensuringdeliveryqualitywithaFirst-TimeRightapproach. Reportingdesignissuesandsupportingthegovernanceofallclientengagements. Ensuringalltechnicaldeliveryprocessesarerobustlyintegratedintoprojectplans. Trackingandresolvingdesignissues,optimizingdesignresourceefficiency,forecastingprojecttasks,andaddressingupskillingandskillgaps. Therolerequiresbeingonsiteatthecustomer\’slocation3daysaweek.
