Industrial Engineer in Birmingham

Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for an Industrial Engineer to be based at our customer's site, in Hams Hall (with travel as required to Wolverhampton). Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast-growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery. The Role: As an Industrial Engineer , you will play a key role in improving manufacturing and operational performance by analysing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing sustainable solutions. Working across cross-functional teams, you will design and develop innovative systems, optimise production workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, cost, delivery, and overall business performance. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, using data and industry best practices to evaluate current operations, develop process improvements, and support the successful delivery of new products and manufacturing programmes. You will be responsible for translating complex operational challenges into practical, efficient solutions that improve productivity, reduce waste, and maximise value across the organisation.
