We are seeking a Change Management Specialist to join our team. The PLM Change Management Specialist is responsible for governing and operating the change governance processes within the customers IDT PLM Operations, predominantly supporting the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform.
This role oversees change forums, evaluates change requests, and ensures deployments meet established acceptance criteria across multiple agile development teams. The specialist will collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, deployment teams, and test governance groups to ensure high-quality and safe change implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Govern and operate change control forums and evaluate change readiness for deployments.
- Coordinate with development squads, product owners, technical product owners, and architects to understand scope, dependencies, risks, and readiness of changes.
- Ensure all deployment considerations - technical, functional, and schedule - are validated with the Deployment team.
- Validate test coverage, plans, and results with the Test Governance team for change acceptance.
- Own the decision-making process: Accept, Reject, or Hold change requests based on defined criteria.
- Define deployment schedules, release calendars, and stakeholder communications.
- Conduct knowledge sessions on PLM change governance and process updates.
- Define improvements or redesign elements of the change governance process to meet evolving business and PLM platform needs.
- Maintain and refine the product backlog, roadmap, and vision related to the change governance value stream.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce inefficiencies, identify risks, and enhance delivery predictability for PLM releases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Planning, Review, Retrospective, Stand-ups).
Experience:
Essential:
- Extensive experience in Change Management or Release Governance within IT.
- Demonstrated experience in managing change within agile delivery environments.
- Strong planning, organization, and follow-up discipline with the ability to hold teams accountable.
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging architects, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify risks, track them, and ensure SLAs and delivery goals are achieved.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365 / Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with PLM ecosystems and enterprise-scale IT change governance.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting PLM domains, especially 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Experience in PLM/ALM toolsets, JIRA/XRAY, or enterprise test management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, LeSS, and SAFe.
- Exposure to the Automotive, Aerospace, or Manufacturing industries.
- Experience planning and executing server-side and client-side PLM deployments.
- Awareness of 3DX interfaces and administrative activities.
