Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for an ADAS Engineer to be based at our customer's site in Woking on a 12-month contract basis.
Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the delivery of ADAS safety systems. You will be responsible for the design and development of Front Camera and Radar fusion systems with the delivery of LDW (Lane Departure Warning), LKA (Lane Keeping Assist), TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) and AEB (Automated Emergency Braking) features to name a few. You will define the features, attributes, system design and validation requirements from the earliest of concept stages and will work on ADAS product roadmaps and technology demonstrators to help define how we utilise advanced ADAS technologies in the future.

For your systems, you will be responsible for delivering all required elements of the Development Process (DP) to agreed gateway timings & cost. You will have multi system, multi vehicle responsibility and will help shape the vehicle electrical architecture.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Higher degree qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience of ADAS feature system design & development, systems engineering & engineering V-lifecycle within an OEM or tier 1.
- Experience with any of the following would be advantageous: ADAS Sensor Fusion systems, mono & stereo camera systems, Radar system functional safety (ISO26262).
- Experience in ADAS sensor calibration and tuning is a plus.
- Documentation of Technical Specifications, DFMEA, DVP, Timing Plans, Minutes and Actions of Meetings.
- Experience with Vector automotive products (or equivalent) e.g. CANoe, CANape, CANalyser, would be advantageous.
- Previous experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN/Ethernet/LIN).
- Experience and understanding of vehicle level system integration in terms of hardware and software.
- Organised, systematic and understand the process of fault finding.
- Ability to effectively manage time between multiple projects.
- A valid UK driving licence.
