Building Systems UK is based at Shotton – a leading facility manufacturing high-performance steel products for the construction industry. We supply roll-formed products, composite panels, and fabricated solutions used in building envelopes across the UK and beyond.

As a Manufacturing Team Member, you’ll play an essential role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This is a hands-on operational role in a fast-paced environment where every team member contributes to customer satisfaction, quality standards, and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating machinery and material handling equipment to high safety and workmanship standards
  • Recognising product ranges and selecting materials for processing
  • Supporting routine maintenance and equipment checks to maximise uptime
  • Actively participating in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Handling and storing materials according to customer and site requirements
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and contributing to site organisation
  • Following Tata Steel’s health, safety, environmental and quality procedures
  • Sharing knowledge and skills with colleagues to support team performance
