At Tata Steel, we’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer to oversee and deliver complex engineering projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management skills, technical know-how, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
What you will do
As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll take ownership of high-value projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You’ll be responsible for project planning, risk management, and coordination across various engineering disciplines.
You will work closely with stakeholders to define project scopes, develop execution strategies, and manage contractors and suppliers. The Senior Project Engineer will also ensure that all work complies with regulatory requirements and Tata Steel’s safety and quality standards.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, ensuring that projects deliver maximum value to the business.
What you will need
We’re looking for an experienced engineer with a track record of successfully managing complex projects in an industrial environment. You’ll need strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
A degree in engineering, project management experience, and familiarity with contract management are essential. Experience within the steel or heavy industrial sector would be highly beneficial.
