The Steelpark business operates on a 24/7 basis, manufacturing shaped multi-metal blanks and coil, utilising press lines, multi strand blanking lines, laser welding, slitting, profiling, third party process providers and external JIT warehouse. Market sectors include both contractual and retail customers.
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Inventory Coordinator to support inventory management and material flow across our TSD UK & Ireland business. This is a key operational role where you’ll ensure the right materials are available at the right time, helping to drive efficiency, cost control, and supply chain performance.
You’ll play a critical part in managing working capital, maintaining accurate inventory data, and coordinating across multiple functions to support smooth operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you will do
- Ensure the availability of raw materials to meet sales and planning demand
- Manage incoming material flow in line with goods-in capacity and operational constraints
- Support robust goods-in processes in line with compliance and Health & Safety standards
- Monitor and coordinate working capital across raw materials, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods
- Optimise stock levels to avoid shortages, overstocking, and material ageing
- Coordinate with suppliers (internal and external) to resolve supply and inventory issues
- Support supplier reviews and ongoing supplier performance management
- Ensure accurate inventory data and resolve discrepancies or system mismatches
- Support change management processes relating to raw material and inventory control
- Conduct performance reviews, root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement actions
- Work collaboratively with planning, operations, sales, and supply chain teams to manage demand and exceptions
What you will need
- Experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, production planning, and material flow
- Experience using ERP and supply chain systems (e.g. Stratix, Rapid or similar)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions
