About Our Trostre Site

At Tata Steel UK, our packaging business based at Trostre is the UK’s only manufacturer of steel packaging. We play a vital role in supplying high-quality steel to the UK, European, and global markets. Each year, Trostre transforms 400,000 tonnes of premium steel into packaging materials for food, aerosols, and other specialty applications used in everyday life. We’re proud to deliver the world-class, sustainable steel packaging that today’s customers demand. It’s not just what we do - it’s why we exist.
