We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded International Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations team in Eaglescliffe.
This is a key role supporting engineering, manufacturing and business improvement projects across our operations, with opportunities to contribute to projects at other global Tata Consumer Products locations.
What you'll do:
- Lead engineering and capital projects from concept through to implementation and benefits realisation
- Develop specifications, business cases and Capital Funding Requests for investment projects
- Manage suppliers, contractors, budgets and project timelines to ensure successful delivery
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, reliability, productivity and operational performance
- Lead machinery installations, commissioning activities and operational handovers
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques to solve problems and remove waste
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement teams to deliver business results
- Support innovation, automation and sustainability initiatives across the factory environment

What we're looking for:
- Engineering experience within manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments
- Experience delivering capital projects, machinery improvements or process optimisation initiatives
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or structured problem-solving techniques
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers and project budgets
- Familiarity with machinery safety, risk assessments and engineering compliance requirements
- Electrical, controls, PLC or automation experience would be advantageous
- Engineering qualifications such as HNC, HND or Degree desirable
